The Ecology of Healing

An evolving inquiry into the conditions that support human healing and wholeness

Exploring the relationships between our biology, consciousness, lived experience, and the environments and relationships in which healing becomes possible.

Why I'm Exploring the Ecology of Healing

After more than three decades in the healing arts, my understanding of healing has continued to evolve. What began through working with the body has expanded into a broader curiosity about the many conditions that influence our health, well-being, and capacity for healing.

Through my work with individuals and groups, I've become increasingly interested in how healing is shaped not only by what we do, but also by how we relate—to ourselves, to one another, and to the environments in which we live. Presence, safety, connection, and belonging are all part of this exploration.

This space brings together questions, reflections, and discoveries from lived experience, embodied practice, and contemporary research. I'm particularly interested in the relationships between biology, energy, consciousness, and human connection—and what becomes possible when we begin to understand healing within the larger living systems of which we are a part.

Themes I’m Exploring

Biology & Energy

How our bodies generate and use energy, and how these processes influence vitality, resilience, and well-being.

Environment & Belonging

How our physical, social, and natural environments influence our sense of safety, belonging, and well-being.

Presence & Regulation

How awareness, embodied presence, and nervous system regulation support our capacity for balance, resilience, and connection.

Collective Coherence

How individual awareness and relational connection may contribute to healthier communities and collective well-being.

Relationships & Healing

How being seen, heard, and met with genuine presence creates conditions that support healing.

Science & Lived Experience

Bringing contemporary research into conversation with embodied experience and our evolving understanding of healing.

From Individual to Collective Healing

An Invitation to Dialogue & Collaboration

The exploration of healing is enriched when different perspectives come together.

I welcome conversations with researchers, educators, healing arts practitioners, and curious minds who are interested in the relationships between biology, consciousness, embodied experience, and human connection.

I believe there is much to discover through thoughtful dialogue—bringing scientific inquiry, lived experience, and diverse perspectives into conversation.

My hope is to contribute to a growing understanding of the conditions that support individual, relational, and collective well-being.

If these explorations resonate with your own work or curiosity, I'd welcome the opportunity to connect.
